Once a year Inui Street on the Imperial Palace grounds in Tokyo, Japan, is open, so visitors can see the variety of majestic cherry blossom trees. The 600-meter-long Inui Street runs north to south through the palace grounds.
The street will be open for nine days, from Saturday, 29 March 2025, to Sunday, 6 April 2025. Entry via the Sakashita-mon Gate is possible from 9am to 3.30 pm. Closing time is 4pm. Long queues are possible. For more details see here.
During the opening period of Inui Street, the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace are open to the public. Entrance is possible from the Ote-mon Gate, the Hirakawa-mon Gate and the Kitahanebashi-mon Gate.
